Hello and welcome! My name is James Steele, and I live in the beautiful state of Ohio with my amazing wife Jennifer and our wonderful daughter Jackie.

I've always had a passion for writing and a deep love of learning—two things that inspired me to launch The Homeschool Wiz. Our daughter's school only goes to the 7th grade and we, along with several others have been researching education options for our children. After exploring various educational options, we were drawn to the world of homeschooling. Through conversations with successful homeschooling families, attending events, and diving deep into a wide range of curriculums and alternative learning resources, we uncovered a treasure trove of valuable information.

This blog is the result of that journey.

The Homeschool Wiz exists to share insights, resources, and encouragement with other parents who are exploring or currently navigating the homeschooling path.
